KSTAR was established in 1993. Today the company
employs more than 1500 people including over 100 engineers. In mainland China, KSTAR is one of the
largest suppliers of UPS with over 40 areas' sale
and service offices and customers from all key
sectors including banking, telecommunications,
airports and local government. KSTAR also exports
large quantities of UPS to South-east Asia, South
Asia, Middle East and Europe.

1993
- Foundation of KSTAR Electronics Company, and
Pro2000 series offline 500VA UPS launched
1994
- KSTAR entered the international market with
the 1st order of UPS products exported to the
overseas market
1998
- Countrywide customer service centers and province-based
after sales maintenance centers established with
toll free 800 Service Hotline
1999
- KSTAR became one of the largest professional
UPS manufactures in mainland China with the expansion
of its production facilities
- KSTAR was accredited ISO 9002 certification
2000
- KSTAR Electronics Company renamed as Shenzhen
KSTAR Science and Technology Development Co. Ltd
- KSTAR ranked No.1 among China local UPS manufacturers
with annual production capacity of 600,000pcs
2001
- KSTAR Battery Factory established
- KSTAR offline UPS awarded CE certification
- 42 provincial service stations and 12 regional
service centers in China completed
2002
- KSTAR offline UPS awarded UL certification
- KSTAR was selected as shortlist by Bank of China,
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China
Petrochemical Corp, China Unicom, State Administration
of Taxation
2003
- KSTAR was accredited ISO9001 certification
- KSTAR ranked No.1 among China local UPS brands
for 4 consecutive years and No.3 among all UPS
brands in China market
2004
- Ingram Micro (China) Co. Ltd signed agreement
with KSTAR to promote the UPS products for China
SME and SOHO market
2005
- KSTAR passed ISO14001 approval
- KSTAR set up several new production and test
lines to promote the UPS capacity to 1.6
million/year
2006
- KSTAR ranked No. 1 among China local UPS
brands and No.2 among all UPS brands in China
market according to CCID 2005 survey
